Class #53 Completion Ceremony


Freestate Applicant Eligibility Criteria

Prospective Applicants Must:

  • Be a High School drop-out, or are at risk of dropping out
  • Be 16-18 years of age at the time of entry into the program
  • Withdrawn from High School prior to their enrollment date
  • Have U.S. Citizenship (or Legal Residency)
  • Have a Social Security Card
  • Have a Birth Certificate
  • Be a resident of the State of Maryland
  • Be drug free*
  • Volunteer
  • Be physically and mentally capable
  • Not be currently on parole or supervised probation for other than juvenile status offenses; not awaiting sentencing; and not under indictment, charged, or convicted of a crime that is considered a felony when charged as an adult

* A mandatory drug screening will be conducted within the first forty days of starting Freestate ChalleNGe Academy. If applicants test positive for the presence of illegal drugs they will be terminated.
